On May 13, 2024, I sent a ridiculously way-too-long email to @jesse.base.eth practically gushing over @base.base.eth what it can mean for creators worldwide, & how we can support as Based Creators (at the time named TheCreators LLC) 🧵
Do you know what @jesse.base.eth did? He read the whole thing (+another lengthy reply) & recommended us for a 1 ETH Base Builder Grant on the spot.
He saw the determination & vision of building a collective of creators on @base.base.eth to make real world impact.
We put that 1 ETH @base.base.eth grant towards our first Based Creators activation in July 2024 with x.com/methodman x.com/WuTangClan, 69+ community sponsors, & 200+ creators across @base.base.eth and @farcaster to raise $12,000 for school supplies and food for children in the Dominican Republic.
We just used Bankrbot to publicly announce our treasury buy of $4000 of $CREATE 0x3849cC93e7B71b37885237cd91a215974135cD8D on @base.base.eth to celebrate The Creators as a revenue generating decentralized agency and community, and as a public window into our renewed growth marketing contract with @joincreatordao.
